New Cottage at Hollymoor Farm is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty with magnificent views, lots of bird life and wild flowers. Margaret and Pat Partridge live at Hollymoor Farm. New Cottage is on a working farm in County Durham and is on the borders of the beautiful Durham Dales, Teesdale and Weardale. With its elevated position it is surrounded by beautiful views.
The accommodation is very cosy and comfortable and all on one level.
The panoramic views from the lounge are a never-ending source of delight - they are stunning. The sunsets are truly magnificent.
New Cottage has a lounge / kitchen, a newly fitted bedroom with a double bed and a spacious shower room. These rooms lead off from a small hallway that has hanging space for cloaks.
Outside there is a small front patio providing a seating area with an old pew and smart, wooden patio furniture.
We are ideally located for trips to Newcastle where you can visit the Baltic Centre which is the Centre for Contemporary Art, and the Hancock Museum, Durham City and Coast.

Comments from previous guests:
"This Cottage is a gem of a find - hardly a human to be seen, every comfort and facility, warm and cosy. We really appreciated the Christmas touches and gifts. The snow really enhanced our stay, making the views even more spectacular." Karen and David 24.12.09 - 02.01.10
